Pour painting, also known as fluid art or acrylic pouring, is an abstract technique where fluid acrylic paints are mixed with thinning mediums and poured, tipped, or blown across a canvas. No art experience required. Each person will get a 9x12 canvas and four tiles to make 4.5” coasters. All supplies will be provided by the instructor. Bring a container to take home the painting and coasters since they will be wet. Paint takes 3 days to dry. If you bring a cardboard box, line it with foil so paint won’t leak through the box. The instructor will contact each participant two weeks in advance of the class to find out what colors he/she wants to work with.
