Experience the magic of the holiday season on this festive 6-hour guided tour of downtown Chicago, including a delicious sit-down lunch. Traveling through the heart of the city, you’ll visit 4-5 popular bakeries and specialty shops featured on our highly anticipated Christmas Bakery Bus. At each location, enjoy seasonal treats, sample offerings, and time to shop for holiday goodies. A generously portioned lunch is included, offering a relaxing break during the day’s festivities. Between stops, enjoy a fully narrated tour highlighting the rich history and traditions of Christmas celebrations from a variety of cultural perspectives, including Greek, Polish, German, Italian, Irish, and Chinese influences. The route focuses exclusively on downtown Chicago and also includes a view of the iconic Macy’s Christmas Great Tree, a beloved holiday landmark that brings the spirit of the season to life. At the end of the tour, we will also include dedicated time for guests to shop at Macy’s before departing. This outing involves minimal walking, but guests must be able to enter and exit the motorcoach multiple times throughout the day and stand briefly at each stop. Registration deadline is November 3. No refunds after this date. Participants may send a substitute if unable to attend; however, we must be notified in advance with the substitute’s full registration information. If a waiting list exists and the seat can be filled, a refund may be issued. All gratuities for motor coach driver, restaurant servers and tour guides are included.

Please meet at Highland Community College near the Student/Conference Center (Building H) in parking lot A. Bus will depart at 7:00 am. Restrooms in building H will be open before we depart and after we return.
