Youth League Fundamentals: Improv for Kids and Teens

Youth League is Portland Comedy Theater’s youth improv program.

In Fundamentals, students (age 11-17) learn about the core elements of improvisation, including teamwork, focus, listening, and acceptance and fun. Through a variety of exercises and Short Form improv games, students will develop their improv skills in ways that will benefit them both on and off stage.

You will also get a code for 2 free tickets to our flagship ComedySportz show, the original fast-paced, competitive, comedy match - for all ages!

Students who enroll attend workshops on Saturday afternoons for 6 weeks (2-4pm PT) at Portland Comedy Theater. The final date includes a free showcase performance for students to show off what they’ve learned to family and friends!

All workshops are held live, taught by Karissa Vasbinder, an Oregon and Washington licensed teacher. The cost is $225 for the series.
