Hot Metal Cold Beer is part foundry experience, part happy hour, and part behind-the-scenes look at one of Durham's most unique art spaces. During the evening, you'll create the pattern for an exclusive cast aluminum project before watching Liberty Arts' foundry crew transform it into metal during a live aluminum pour.

Every Hot Metal Cold Beer features a new casting project, giving returning guests a reason to come back and experience something different each time. October's featured project will be unveiled closer to the event, but one thing is certain—you'll leave with an exclusive cast aluminum piece available only at this Hot Metal Cold Beer. While your piece is being cast, grab whatever you fancy at the Glass Jug Beer Lab using your included drink token—whether it's a craft beer, cider, soda, or another non-alcoholic beverage—and enjoy an evening exploring a pop-up market featuring artwork by Liberty Arts artists. Wander between the artist booths, catch the glow of molten aluminum as it's poured, and experience the energy of a working foundry from just beyond the foundry floor.
