Florida 4-Hour (Re) Qualification Rifle
This 4-hour course provides annual rifle requalification and proficiency training for licensed Florida Class “G” Armed Security Officers authorized by their employing agency to carry or deploy a rifle.
Students will review rifle safety, applicable Florida law, use-of-force principles, range procedures, rifle manipulation, malfunction clearance, and shooting positions before completing the approved rifle qualification course.
The qualification consists of 30 rounds fired from approximately 2⅓ to 25 yards using standing, kneeling, shoulder-ready, and prone positions. Students must achieve a minimum passing score of 105 out of 150 points (70%).
Successful completion documents proficiency with the rifle type and caliber used during qualification.
