About the Workshop

In this workshop you will learn the foundations of acrylic painting through one of the most satisfying exercises there is — painting geometric objects with real dimension. Using studio-original templates, you will work through colour mixing, grading, shading and colour theory, and learn how to create the illusion of space through shadow and highlights.

It is technical, focused and surprisingly meditative. You will also get familiar with all the tools and materials used in acrylic painting, so you leave feeling oriented and ready to continue independently.

If you already have some experience with acrylics, the templates are versatile enough to take you further — or you can create your own geometric composition with the support of the instructor. All in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.

Who Is This Workshop For?

Anyone curious about acrylic painting who wants a structured, satisfying introduction. The geometric format gives you clear goals to work toward while leaving room to develop your own approach. Also well suited to those with some experience who want to sharpen their technical foundation.

All levels welcome. No prior experience needed.

Age limit: 14+

Material

All materials included — acrylic paints, brushes, canvas (40 x 30 cm), Kwassie’s original templates and palettes. Tea and coffee included throughout. Aprons available on site.

Please Note

Acrylic paint is not easy to wash from clothing. An apron is provided, but we recommend wearing something you don't mind getting paint on.

This workshop is instructed in English. German support is available on request.
