Flameworking: Make Your Own Glass Stegosaurus and Brontosaurus

Learn to create your own colorful prehistoric creatures out of molten glass using a bench-top torch in this intro to Flameworking class.

This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who has ever wanted to dip their toes into the world of hot glass. In just one hour you will learn about the basic fundamentals of borosilicate glass work and maybe find a new passion.

Your instructor will provide up-close demonstrations, give step by step instruction and provide all equipment and materials. All you need to bring is your creativity!

How to prepare for class:

Wear comfortable clothes, nothing dangling or loose fitting, closed toed shoes are required and long hair must be pulled back.

Anyone who may need glasses; consider wearing contacts if you are able, or the smallest/thinnest frames you own. We will be wearing specialized eyewear throughout this class.

Keep in mind: if it is hot or cold outside, it will be the same in the studio as we are in a ventilated space.
