TITLE: "My Daddy is Haunted!" (A Planet Ant Original Horror Comedy)

ABOUT THE PLAY: Wanna be a part of something spooktacular this October? Then come audition for “My Daddy is Haunted!", a new original horror comedy from Planet Ant opening this October. Think Gothic horror meets National Lampoons Vacation. We're looking to fill various roles including sinister sorcerers, depraved butlers, wacky teens, pious nuns and of course we need a haunted daddy!

AUDITION INFORMATION:

• Date: Saturday, August 1st
• Time: 12-3 PM (sign up for a time slot!)
• Location: Planet Ant Studio | 11831 Joseph Campau Ave Hamtramck, MI
• Preparation: Cold reads from the script. Resumes accepted but not necessary.

***Drops ins will be seen as time allows. If you are unable to make the audition we will accept a filmed audition. Please email scottsanford00@gmail.com for a script sample.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Rehearsals: Twice a week starting the week of August 2nd. Days TBD.
• Tech and Dress Rehearsal (required): 10/4(afternoon) and 10/6(evening)
• Performance Run: October 9 – October 25, 2026(3 consecutive weekends) + a special Halloween show on October 31st
• Showtimes: Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM; Sundays at 3 PM.

SEEKING: "My Daddy is Haunted!" is looking for talented people to fill assorted roles of various age and gender. We are also looking for background cast/stagehands. Bonus points if you can yo-yo!
