(Virtual Café) Sustainability & Resilence - IN Library Leader World Café Conversations
Virtual event time: 9:30am-1:30pm Eastern (8:30am-12:30pm Central)
Recent legislative and organizational changes are creating new challenges and uncertainties for public libraries across Indiana. Now more than ever, library leaders need space to come together — to listen deeply, share perspectives, and co-create paths forward.
Sustainability & Resilience: Exploring Solutions is a multi-event engagement program bringing public library leaders together in facilitated dialogue about the challenges and opportunities ahead. Each event uses The World Café methodology — a proven approach to inclusive, participatory conversation. Conversations will focus on surfacing the diverse perspectives, experiences, and insights that exist across our library community — and on coming together to imagine bold, impactful solutions that support one another and move public libraries forward.
Before participating, all registrants will receive access to a self-paced tutorial including reports, articles, and short videos providing historical context and an overview of the current landscape. We request you complete this tutorial prior to the conversation.
Logistical details and tutorial access will be sent to participants via email ahead of the event.
Note: This event is for Indiana public library leaders only.
Important: In order to fully participate in this Virtual Café, participants are required to have a microphone and camera enabled. We ask that you be fully present during the discussion and that you join individually on your own device though others from your library may also be registered. Thank you!
Single registrations only; no group registrations.
