Hand build a mug with a decal! Students will be led through the process of working vertical with a slab of clay. An instructor will demonstrate adding a decal of your choice to the exterior of the mug. The example photo displays a mountain, but students can choose from a handful of other options, such as flowers and moons. At the end of class, students will select a glaze for their piece that the instructor will glaze once bisque fired.

Minimum age is 14, but children 12–14 can sign up for this class when attending with a parent/guardian.

Finished pieces take up to 4–5 weeks. NW Ceramics will email students when ceramics are done and ready for pickup. Due to limited storage space, we can only hold pottery for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks (from the date we notify that your pottery is done and ready for pickup) we will have to discard your pieces.

Registration may be canceled up to 5 days before the first class date for a refund, less an 8% processing fee.Cancellations received within 5 days of the first class date are non-refundable.
