Transfer event for September

If you know that you are unable to attend a future meeting at your home group we are offering members the option to swap and attend a meeting at a different location. In line with our Terms and Conditions you may only swap to a different group within the same month. Sessions cannot be carried over or banked. It's important that you register yourself as a transfer to the group that you wish to attend instead of your home group. You will then show up on a register at that group and the hosts will know to expect you.

Please check the activities carefully as not all groups do the same activity each month due to tutor availability.

If you register within 24 hours of the event your name may not appear on the register, please bring a copy of your registration.

At our September session we will create beautiful hammered tin Christmas decorations with Betty from Betty’s Interiors

Add a touch of handmade sparkle to your Christmas this year as we welcome the wonderfully creative Betty from Betty’s Interiors for a festive workshop creating stunning embossed tin decorations.

Using soft metal sheets, specialist tools and decorative embossing techniques, you’ll transform simple pieces of tin into beautiful ornaments full of texture and character. Choose from a selection of festive and decorative designs, before adding ribbons ready to hang on your Christmas tree, decorate your home or gift to someone special.

This is a wonderfully mindful craft that is surprisingly relaxing and suitable for complete beginners. Betty will guide you through every stage of the process, showing you how to create beautiful raised patterns and intricate details that catch the light and make each piece completely unique.

All materials and tools are provided, so simply come along, enjoy a cuppa, chat with friends and lose yourself in a couple of hours of festive creativity.

Our session includes tea and coffee, it would be great if you could bring along cake or something sweet to share with members for our cake table.
