Junior Athlete Development Sunday 8:00 to 10:00AM
Junior Athlete Development
At this level divers continue learning new skills and improve technique. Divers may be invited to compete at club level competitions, and perhaps to compete regionally once they have mastered the required dives. For those who are planning on staying a recreational diver, this is an ideal class.
Requirements for entry: Recommendation from coach + at least two of 101C (front dive tuck), 102C (front somersault tuck), 201A (back dive straight), 401C (inward dive tuck)
Pool time: 2 to 4 hours/week
Sunday Pool classes from 8:00am - 10:00am, September 27 to December 20.
Recreational diver insurance fee: In addition to registering for our classes/programs, there is a recreational diver insurance fee payable directly to Diving Canada/Dive Ontario (approx. $35, but subject to change). Families MUST register their diver as a KW Diving Club "Athlete - Recreational" within the Dive365 system, and pay the DPC/DO insurance fee directly through the system. This must be done prior to the first class, or the diver will not be allowed to participate until this registration is complete. The link into Dive365 for the 2026-27 season will be emailed to all registered families once KW Diving Club has been provided with it.
