This class is for 18 years old and older.

Class includes all materials that are needed! If you have an upena to mend, bring it!

Class includes: 

• Art of Throwing an Upena. Each of you will give it a throw.
• We will talk about the concept of designing and starting a net in relation to a circle ⭕️. 
• Use props to practice tying different knots used in net making and repair. 
• Discuss tools used and names along with their functions.
• Learn about net size, eye size, and the mathematical formulations involved. 
• Learn the different parts of the upena.
• Learn to repair skirts and lead line.
• Natural Kona Indigo Dye Bath Demo periodically

***WE WILL NOT HAVE CLASS ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 22ND ***

Cancelation Policy:

To cancel a workshop registration and receive a refund, notify us at least 30 days before the start date of your workshop. If we are given the required 30 days notice we will refund your payment, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the start of the workshop.
