Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants how to give first aid, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use an automated external defibrillator safely and effectively.

What does this course teach?

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR and AED including:

  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Preventing illness and injury
  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant
  • Drowning response and prevention
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
