Algebra for All Learners Day 1 VIRTUAL Workshop

Join us for an interactive two-day workshop designed to transform algebra instruction from abstract procedures into meaningful, accessible learning for every student. Building on ALN’s popular one-day Algebra for All workshop, we're expanding into a deeper two-day experience that gives us more room to dig into the models and strategies that build deep conceptual understanding of algebraic concepts too often taught through rote memorization and procedural steps.

Day 1: Expressions and Equations
We'll explore visual models and strategies for making expressions and solving equations tangible and accessible in Tier 1 instruction.

What you'll experience in each workshop:

  • Visual models and representations that reveal the "why" behind algebraic procedures
  • Instructional strategies that support all learners in accessing complex algebraic thinking
  • The All Learners Network lesson structure applied to inclusive algebra instruction
  • Collaborative problem-solving that mirrors best practices for student discourse
  • Tasks that connect procedural fluency with conceptual understanding

Who should attend: Middle and high school mathematics teachers, instructional coaches, and curriculum leaders committed to ensuring every student develops algebraic reasoning and understanding.

Walk away with: Practical strategies and resources you can implement immediately to make algebra accessible and meaningful for all learners.

You will receive a Zoom link one day prior to the event. Please contact ashleymarlow@alllearnersnetwork.com with any questions.
