Handling Difficult and Uncomfortable Conversations
Navigating difficult or uncomfortable conversations is an essential workplace skill, regardless of your role or level of responsibility. Whether addressing a concern with a colleague, providing or receiving feedback, managing differing perspectives, setting boundaries, or working through conflict, having the right tools can help make challenging conversations more productive and constructive.
This interactive training will provide participants with practical strategies for approaching difficult conversations with greater confidence, clarity, and professionalism. Through guided discussion, real-world scenarios, case studies, and interactive activities, participants will explore effective communication techniques and practice navigating challenging workplace situations while maintaining respect, accountability, and positive working relationships.
This training is designed for all staff and is open to both leadership and non-leadership employees across all departments and programs. Two sessions are being offered on different days and at different times to provide greater flexibility and multiple opportunities to participate. Staff only need to attend one session.
