UAC Orientation to Academic Advising at USC - December 2026
The University Advising Center (UAC) Orientation to Academic Advising is designed to provide new Undergraduate Academic Advisors (UAAs) with both a big-picture understanding of the UAC and its mission as well as their role as a UAA. This extended onboarding provides advisors with an understanding of the background and functional areas of the UAC and the importance of their role within the greater organization. Time will be spent with several members of the University Advising Center support team.

*NOTE: Due to scheduling needs, UAAs attending this session will be required to register separately for the Appreciative Advising Workshop on Thursday, December 17 as well as the Transfer Series Part 1 training in the Spring 2027 term. Additional details will be provided during Orientation.
