The Network

This session is intended for advocates who work with survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault and want to learn what rights, accommodations, and protections are available to survivors in Illinois. Attendees will learn information about the Victim's Economic Security & Safety Act (VESSA), Chicago/Cook County/IL paid leave laws, the Illinois Human Rights Act (IHRA), protective orders, unemployment insurance and how to help clients access these resources.  A handout will be provided as a tool to be used with clients.
