Learn the basics of hand bookbinding while creating your own journal. You’ll paint and decorate a manila folder cover using stencils and mixed-media techniques, then fold pages into signatures and sew them together with a simple binding stitch. Along the way, you’ll learn basic bookbinding terminology, page assembly, and binding techniques while creating a functional journal to take home.
