Level 2: Scene Work
Taken Level 1: Intro to Improv and ready to dive deeper into scene work and connection? Level 2: Scene Work is your next step toward feeling confident, grounded, and ready to take a scene further.
Designed for improvisers ready to strengthen their scene work, this class focuses on the tools that help scenes go somewhere exciting, creative, and funny without forcing them there. You’ll build stronger characters and points of view, develop your stagecraft, recognize and play patterns and games, and sharpen your listening and support skills.
Through hands-on exercises, scene work, and personalized feedback, you’ll learn how to stay present, make strong choices, build relationships, and discover what a scene is really about as it unfolds. We’ll explore how character choices affect the scene, how physicality and stagecraft can add depth to a scene, how to identify and heighten a game or pattern, and how to support your scene partners while still bringing your own ideas to the stage.
Perfect for improvisers looking to move beyond simply letting a scene happen to them and start creating scenes with confidence, clarity, and purpose. Excellent for both short-form and long-form players.
