Canadian Elite Academy – Volleyball League (Grades 7–12)

This League is designed exclusively for athletes who want the chance to play, grow, and compete. It provides a structured alternative to pickup games and focuses on discovery learning where athletes learn through play, experience, and teamwork.

Nights: 6 sessions (Wednesdays 5 - 6:30 pm)

Location: Henk Ruys Soccer Center

Capacity: Limited to 54 athletes (Grades 7–12)

Refund Policy: No refunds for missed nights

League Format

Athletes are placed into nine-player teams (6 on the court, 3 substitutes).

Each night features six 15-minute games with rotating lineups and starting positions.

Athletes change courts every 15 minutes, playing with and against different teammates.

Weekly sorting: athletes are re-grouped into Top 18, Middle 18, and Bottom 18 based on cumulative points.

Scoring System

3 points for a win

1 point for a tie

0 points for a loss

At the end of the league, the top athlete earns the title “Royalty of the Court.”

Developmental Focus

No direct coaching during games – athletes learn through experience, adaptability, and teamwork.

Emphasis on punctuality, fairness, accountability, and leadership.

Encourages self-reliance, independence, and creative problem-solving on the court.
