10:15-10:30AM Academic Policies and Key Dates

Review of important academic policies, along with key dates to support effective planning and smooth course delivery.

10:30-10:45AM Break

A chance to stretch your legs, get some fresh air, and grab a coffee or snack from the café before the next session begins.

10:45-11:30AM Quality Assurance and Course Outlines

Review of QA, and walkthrough of the key sections of the course outline to ensure faculty understand curriculum expectations and course requirements.

11:30-12:00PM Introduction to Equitable Learning and Accessibility Services

Learn how Student Advisors and Accessibility Services partner with faculty to support student success and academic accommodations.

12:00-1:00PM Lunch

A mid-day break to relax and refuel. Please note that lunch is not provided—participants may bring a packed lunch or visit the campus café to purchase a meal.

An introduction to Loyalist College’s learning management system, Canvas. This session will guide faculty through course setup, navigating key features, and managing content and communications to support student learning.
