Community Education Center

As part of their leadership journey, each Leadership Elk Cameron participant will complete at a minimum of six hours of community service September-May with at least 2 different organizations. Rather than completing one large class project, participants will choose volunteer opportunities that align with their interests, passions, and schedules while making meaningful contributions to organizations across our community.

To help connect our class members with local organizations, we are hosting a Volunteer Opportunity Speed Networking Event during our LEC Orientation, and we invite your organization to participate.

How it works:

• • Set up at a table with information about your organization and volunteer opportunities. (table and chairs will be provided)
  • Meet with small groups of LEC participants as they rotate from table to table.
  • Share your mission, the impact your organization makes, and the types of volunteer opportunities available.
  • Answer questions and encourage participants to get involved throughout the year.
