Glaze
INTRODUCTION TO HAND-BUILDING
This class will teach the basics of hand building in pottery, rolling slabs, cutting forms, shaping clay and surface decoration, as well as painting and glazing. The first class will have a specific project, and the other weeks there will be opportunities to make you own projects with the guidance of the instructor.
This class will focus on creating kitchen accessories.
Your fee includes 3 weeks of lessons (with a 1 week break to allow clay to dry ) includes 10 kg. clay, use of studio equipment, glazes, and firing.
This class is geared for adults, but age 15 - 17 welcome.
Once Projects have been glaze fired, they must be picked up within 30 days.
