WisconSing Sneak Peak Wednesday - A Singing Celebration of Community with Sheniqua Trotman and more.
WisconSing's Wednesday pre-party is a celebration of community and a special time designed for local friends to feel into what WisconSing is offering.
The WisconSing26 event beyond Wednesday evening is sold out.
WisconSing is an intergenerational community singing family camp, nourishing body, mind and soul.
We will come together in song, dance, artistic expression, playfulness, and a deep desire to truly connect and create a safe and healing place of belonging on the land. About 150 of us will gather in song, on 100 acres of the most beautiful land in the Driftless Area surrounded by forested hills and bordered by the Bad Axe Creek system, to allow for peaceful enjoyment, support and connection to the more than human world in nature. Oh what a glorious sound we will make in the privacy of this amazing place.
Singing in this way is an empowering collective response to the state of the world today. Join the returning WisconSing community to help weave ourselves together through songs of love, grief, joy, connection, celebration and spirit. We bring the medicine of song to each other, therein creating a place of resonance and harmonious community. We have experienced that when we gather together in this way a true sense of belonging emerges.
Our intention is to create a rustic, intergenerational singing village connected to the land, where each participant, from the youngest to the oldest, can play and sing from the authenticity of who they truly are. We will share and learn belonging skills from each other, inspired by the Kinship Tending for Events Series from Stellar Village and Grisha Stewart. ance, sanctuary, celebration and offering your gifts to the community through service. Dis-connect from the outer world ... and connect to a village of singing humans, to the Earth and Sky, to the medicine of group singing. Every participant weaves themselves into this intentional village.
Come nestle into a beautiful setting amongst the bluffs of the Driftless, where we eat real food made with love. Gather around the nighttime fire, like your ancestors did, singing together and held by the living web of life.
