A Rite of Passage is a ceremonial celebration marking an important transition in a person's life. For youth, it honors the shift from childhood into adolescence, cultivating a stronger sense of identity, confidence, and connection to community.

Offered in collaboration by Ventura Wild and Thrive Wellness Workshop, Stepping Stones is a six-month journey designed to support female-identifying youth through this transformative stage. Rooted in nature, ceremony, mentorship, and authentic relationships, the program provides a meaningful space for self-discovery, resilience, and belonging.

Introduction & Application Experience

This Introduction to Stepping Stones is both an introductory experience and the application process for families interested in joining the six-month journey.

Through two immersive gatherings, parents and daughters will experience the heart of Stepping Stones through meaningful connection, nature-based activities, reflection, and community. Families will have the opportunity to meet the facilitators, ask questions, and experience the program's unique approach while the facilitators get to know each participant and family to ensure the program is a good mutual fit.

Participation in this introductory session serves as the prerequisite for enrollment in the program beginning in January.

Wednesday, November 18 | 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Drop-off, Daughters Only

Space is limited to 15 families.

Following the Introduction & Application Experience, up to 10 families will be invited to register for the full six-month Stepping Stones Rite of Passage program beginning in January.

We encourage families who are interested in this unique journey to participate in the Introduction & Application Experience as the first step toward joining the Stepping Stones community. These families will be given priority for registration.
