Your weapon is useless if you can’t get it into the fight — and that’s far harder than most people think.

There’s a huge difference between a clean draw on the flat range with a buzzer and accessing your gun or knife while someone is already on you, fighting hard to take your life. Most training never addresses this reality. This course does.

You will walk away better prepared to survive a contact-range, weapons-based incident in the real world.

We build a practical wrestling-based system to stabilize and resolve the clinch under pressure, then focus on achieving reliable In-Fight Weapon Access (IFWA). Everything is validated through force-on-force scenarios so the skills hold up when it counts.

You will develop:

• An operating system based on pressure, posture, and position
• Four fundamental attachments to gain or deny the inside position
• How to stabilize the clinch in a weapons environment
• How to resolve the clinch:
  • Plan A: Escape safely
  • Plan B: Control and dominate with tie-ups
• In-Fight Weapon Access (IFWA) with both gun and knife

 A Shivworks course is a significant investment of time and money – not only for the participant but also for the hosts and the instructors. Courses fill fast, and unexpected cancellations greatly strain our niche bespoke program. Therefore, we have a strict refund policy for every course. If you have enrolled in a class and later cannot make it, please get in touch with us immediately.

More than 30 Days Before Class

If a student cancels more than 30 days before a class, that student’s tuition will be refunded in full.

30 Days Before Class

If a student cancels anywhere between eight and thirty days before class, that student’s tuition is not refundable. However, the tuition can be applied to another Shivworks class. This tuition credit must be used within 18 months of the original class date, or it is forfeited.

 10 days Before Class

If a student cancels 10 days (or less) before a class, that student’s tuition in forfeited and cannot be applied to any other class.

 Shivworks Cancellations: If we have to cancel a class for any reason, all students enrolled in that class will receive full refunds.
