3V3 + GK COMP (FOOTBALL + SERIES )

THE FOOTBALL + SERIES

3V3 + GOALKEEPER COMPETITION

$500 per team = $100 per player

How it works(Format)

  1. There will be 8 teams of 5 players with 3 outfield players plus a goalkeeper and 1 substitute.
  2. 12minute games with substitutes every 4 minutes.
  3. There will be rules and constraints to provoke ideas from the players constantly throughout the games and we have designed these to suit the format of 3v3 +GK .
  4. All rules and game day layout will be posted after the registration is finalised and your team will be added to a whatsapp group with all the info>
  5. Each team will play each other once and the top 4 and bottom 4 go into semi finals & finals, which means a minimum of 8 games per team equating to 96mins of football.
  6. Winners will get to lift a trophy and a medal each.
  7. All players will go home with a football goodie bag and hopefully fun memories.
  8. Special prize will go to 2 players that we think have encouraged, helped and organised their team mates over the course of the comp.
  9. There will be 2 games on at once and we'll have a referee on each pitch to remind the players of the rules.
  10. That means 4 teams will have a 12min to 15min rest while waiting on the games to finish.
  11. There will be 2 games starting every 15minutes.
  12. If there is a wash out due to weather we will re schedule.

What do we want?

  1. (We want to hear the players voice!).
  2. Boys and girls from the ages eligible to play U10-u11 for 2026
  3. Your team can have 2 x u11 max and as many u10s as you want.
  4. wear your favourite kit, shin pads and football boots.
  5. bibs will be provided per game.
  6. bring snacks & water .

What can the players expect:

  1. Lots of games, fun & a chance to make new friends.
  2. At least 96mins of football
  3. Over 96minutes of football on average the players will have a chance to dribble, pass, shoot, block, tackle, intercept around 200 times, in a 7v7 format over 50mins you might get 25 actions.(Some difference).
  4. Those statistics have been researched and taken by us manually.
  5. The idea is the kids are exposed to something different than the usual with their clubs or academy's and take the learnings back to their clubs
  6. We provide training in these type of formats every week to help players develop @JH Football.
  7. The pitch is caged meaning the ball is in play a lot and its a safe environment.
  8. We want the emphasis on the learning & fun as opposed to winning the finals.

Why this Format:

  1. The main reason to hold this competition in this format is the obvious difference in chances to problem solve as above.
  2. There is no COACHING and we only want facilitators to manage the teams.
  3. The point is the players will self organise and re organise themselves throughout the games and we should hear their voice and no one from the sideline.
  4. This will help them socially coordinate and grow in confidence.
  5. Its harder for dominant players to be dominant in that format which makes it a more equal playing field.
  6. You'll notice the scores will be close which helps with motivation.

Location:

Mutch park has a skate park,a playground ,plenty of room for picnics, walking the dogs, public toilets and 2min away there are coffee shops, westfield shopping centre for anyone looking for something to do while the games are been played.

Roll of the facilitator:

  1. Organise the kids when the games are about to start(from our schedule).
  2. keep an eye on the kids during and after games.
  3. explain the rules of the game .
  4. Allow the players to work it out and have fun.

RESULTS FROM THE FIRST COMP LAST MARCH:

  1. the rules and constraints provoked lots of problem solving, improvisation, creativity, adaptability to go along with a mountain of fun.
  2. the players voice was the loudest and the players organised themselves even start coaching each other from the sideline.
  3. every game was close in scoreline making it an even playing field for players that usually would have less actions or low in confidence in bigger spaces.
  4. lots of social connections and players mingled really well.
  5. We have relfected on the games/day,listened to feedback and improved some aspects of the rules and set up to make it even better.
  6. Zero influence from the sideline meant the players had to think on the go for themselves but also as a group and work out how to negotiate the rules and strategise.
  7. There was a lot of positive player behaviour change .

REFEREE'S:

  1. The referees role will be to make sure the kids obey the rules and he will stop the game if there are any problems or influence from the sideline.

Registration:

  1. when you register your team of 5 please choose a WORLD CUP TEAM .
  2. follow the prompts and fill in all the field's please.
  3. When rego is complete we will add you to a whatsapp group and send on the rules and how the games will be scheduled.
