Iranian Dance – Continuing Students, Ages 11–13

This class is designed for continuing students ages 11–13 who have previous experience with Iranian dance and are ready to build on the skills they have already learned.

Students will continue developing their technique while exploring Iranian dance. Through choreography, music, and cultural traditions, dancers will strengthen their coordination, expression, confidence, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Highlights:

1. Technique: Students will refine their movements, coordination, and musicality while learning new steps and combinations that reflect the beauty and elegance of Iranian dance.
   
   
2. Choreography: Students will learn and practice choreographed pieces that build confidence, expression, and performance skills while honoring Iranian traditions and artistry.
   
   
3. Cultural Learning: Through music, costumes, props, and regional dance styles, students will deepen their understanding and appreciation of Iranian culture.
   
   
4. Optional Performance Opportunity: Students will have the opportunity, but are not required, to perform as a group during the ICF Yalda Celebration in December.
   
   
5. What to Bring: Flexible dance shoes and comfortable attire that allows for movement.
