This 14 week class is perfect for young artists who love to draw and paint or want to build stronger artistic skills! In this engaging weekly class, students will develop a solid foundation in drawing while exploring both acrylic and watercolor painting techniques.

Through fun, age-appropriate projects, students will learn the fundamentals of art, including line, shape, form, perspective, shading, composition, color theory, and color mixing. They will practice drawing from observation, including still life. They will discover how to bring some of their artwork to life with paint.

Whether your child is just beginning or already enjoys creating art, this class offers individualized instruction to help each student grow at their own pace while encouraging creativity, imagination, and artistic expression. By the end of the session, students will have expanded their technical skills and complete a few drawings and paintings with different subject matter.

This class is designed for homeschool students ages 9-13.
