Start Painting: A 3-Session Course on Canvas

About the course

Start with a blank canvas and end with a painting you're proud of. This hands-on acrylic painting course guides you step-by-step through the fundamentals, whether you've never picked up a brush or want to build on skills you already have. The first session covers the essentials - color mixing, brush technique and composition - before you put it all into practice, spending the remaining two sessions painting a single figurative piece from start to finish.

You will learn to mix color with confidence, build a painting from background to detail and understand how layering, contrast and composition come together on canvas. Painting is as much about process as it is about the result, and this course trains exactly that.

Who is This Course For?

This course is for anyone who wants to learn to paint from scratch, return to painting after a break, or build on skills from a previous session. 3 sessions x 2,5 hours - 1 session on technique and colour theory, 2 sessions painting one piece from start to finish

Material

All material (high-end acrylics, a 50x60cm canvas, brushes etc.) is included in the price of the course. An apron is available to use on site. Coffee and tea are also included.

Language

This course is instructed in German or English.
