HAGFEST - Ostara
HAGFEST Ostara gathering - The Spring Equinox…the mid-point between the Winter & Summer solstices, & the peak of the traditional observance of Spring.
For women transitioning into the second half of their life, curious about it, or fully living it!
Please be in touch if you are interested in attending: glorymclarenvale@gmail.com
We will explore the energies of Spring around us, in this place, & what that might mean for us in our lives right now; “seeing” what opportunities it presents for us. We will also ponder the pre-Christian agricultural & spiritual wheel of the year, adapted to the Southern hemisphere & also this landscape… And we will tend to our inner flame, celebrating the equal moon & sun energy & the balance of this moment in the rhythm of the year.
Join us for a participatory & collective co-creation:
Opening & closing sharing circle, oracle work, movement, creative/therapeutic activity, texts/folk tale (adventure)/poems, pot-luck soup (ideally around the fire, or in the chapel if weather prohibits) & more…
Bring layers for warmth & something to add to the soup (& a takeaway container for leftovers if you would like some). Donations (of all kinds) towards the care for this sacred & State Heritage place are also always welcome…
(Remember you can use CASH coupon on registration; if you have organised to trade other exchanges or if you are bringing a cash contribution on the day)🪴
One of the reasons Hagfest was created was to give back to so many of us who lead others creatively & spiritually, through our creative practices (or in our families or workplaces), & who might have done so for some time…these gatherings occur roughly every six weeks based around the Celtic seasonal wheel of the year (Hope’s dominant cultural background).
So this is a space for US to be held within, by each other, without any performing whatsoever required. It’s a space to be…whoever you are on the day (sometimes messy, sometimes pumped) at this moment in time in relation to the land. And a space to allow us all to feel around the edges of (or dive right into) who we are becoming…& what the rest of our life (or just next week) could look like, in this place. To unfurl into what THIS landscape, this place, in THIS time, might be asking of each of us…❤️🍄🌱
