Learn how to avoid the wall of text that people pass by, to create an attractive, discussion generating, award winning conference poster in this workshop on Conference Poster Design. We'll discuss effective strategies and how to really focus on your ultimate goals with a conference poster.
We'll talk about:
- Why create a poster?
- What are your goals for the poster you create? Is it simply a large sheet of paper onto which you can paste everything about your research?H
- How can you leverage the visual elements of a poster to present a more attractive and coherent message about your work?
- How can you attract folks to come over to your poster to talk with you?
