Service Day in Strasburg (Bennett Office)
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, CORE Electric Cooperative and Strasburg Parks & Recreation are teaming up to refresh the Community Park West Playground in Strasburg, CO.
Engineered wood fiber chips will be delivered that morning and need to be distributed throughout the playground using shovels and rakes. We'll also be trimming trees, scrubbing playground equipment, and completing other tasks as assigned to get the park looking its best.
Bring the whole family and spend the morning making a difference together! Age-appropriate children are welcome and encouraged to participate alongside their parents or guardians.
To help us accurately plan for the event, every person attending must register, including children. A Release and Liability Waiver must also be completed by each participant at check-in on the day of the event.
Service Day T-shirts will be provided to all registered attendees and will be available for pickup before the event or on the morning of October 3.
Following the project, a grab-and-go lunch will be provided at the pavilion. We hope you'll join us for a fun and rewarding day of service!
