Step into the world of precision dance with Precision Dance Collective!

Designed for dancers ages 10+ who already have a strong foundation in tap, jazz, and ballet, this two-hour workshop introduces the fundamental elements that make precision dance so dynamic, demanding, and uniquely captivating.

Dancers will explore the building blocks of the precision style through tap and jazz technique and choreography, while developing an understanding of the pathways, bevels, angles, formations, and musicality that create the signature precision aesthetic. We’ll break down how individual technique translates into a cohesive group of dancers and how clarity, consistency, and performance quality come together to create movement that is truly unified.

And, of course, no precision workshop would be complete without the famous eye-high kicks!

Whether dancers are new to precision dance or looking to strengthen the fundamentals of a style they already love, this workshop will give them the tools, vocabulary, and understanding to approach precision movement with greater confidence, clarity, and intention.

LIABILITY: 18+

I acknowledge that participation in classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, and related activities offered by Precision Dance Collective LLC involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to bodily injury, illness, permanent disability, property damage, or other losses.

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in any Precision Dance Collective LLC activity.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Precision Dance Collective LLC, including its owners, directors, faculty, staff, contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or expenses of any kind, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to my participation in any program, activity, or event, including those that may arise in the future.

This Release applies to all claims, including but not limited to those arising from negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of New York.

I understand and agree that:

• I am physically able to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

• I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition and stopping activity if I feel unwell or unsafe.

• Precision Dance Collective LLC reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

This Waiver and Release constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. If any portion of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this Waiver and Release in its entirety, understand its terms, and agree to it freely and voluntarily. I understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.

I certify that I am 18 years of age or older and legally competent to enter into this agreement.

LIABILITY: MINOR

I, as the parent or legal guardian of the above-named participant, acknowledge that I have read and understand this Waiver and Release of Liability. I consent to the minor’s participation in Precision Dance Collective LLC activities and agree, on behalf of myself and the minor, to be bound by all terms and conditions stated herein.

I further agree to release and hold harmless Precision Dance Collective LLC and the Released Parties from any and all claims arising out of or related to the minor’s participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
