In this highly interactive course, students step into the role of global leaders and experience how international decisions are actually made. 

Using simulations developed by the Council on Foreign Relations, students engage in diplomacy, navigate conflict, and wrestle with the kinds of ethical decisions governments face every day. 

This isn’t a lecture-based class. It’s a leadership experience. 

Students will learn:

• How global decisions are made through diplomacy and negotiation
• How to analyze international conflicts and competing interests
• How to evaluate ethical dilemmas in foreign policy
• Public speaking and persuasive communication skills
• How to engage in civil discourse in complex situations
• Key concepts in international relations
