Citizens Safety Academy

CSA's Protective Pistol course covers the essential knowledge, mindset, and skills tactics needed to successfully defend against a deadly criminal attack, and remain within the rule of law.

This course is designed expressly for the armed citizen who owns and knows their way around a handgun, who shoots and occasionally carries, but hasn’t had any formal training.

Topics include:

• Mental awareness and techniques for dominating life-threatening confrontations
• Proper defensive mindset and personal tactics
• Effective gun handling techniques designed to work under stress
• Rapid presentation from concealed carry during an attack
• High speed accuracy at close ranges and precision shooting at mid ranges
• Rapidly and reliably fixing pistol malfunctions and reloading techniques
• Shooting effectively with one hand
• Tactical anatomy
• Effective movement

This particular course will be held over two evenings, for four hours each day. 5:30 to 9
