Transfer event for November - Christmas Door Wreath

If you know that you are unable to attend a future meeting at your home group we offer our members the option to swap and attend a meeting at a different location. In line with our Terms and Conditions you may only swap to a different group within the same month. Sessions cannot be carried over or banked. It's important that you register yourself as a transfer to the group that you wish to attend instead of your home group. You will then show up on a register at that group and the hosts will know to expect you.

If you register within 24 hours of the event your name may not appear on the register, please bring a copy of your registration.

Please check the activities carefully as not all groups do the same activity each month due to tutor availability.

In terms of transfers, you are only allowed to do one wreath session per member. Unless you want to make an additional wreath at the guest rate of £29.50.

At our November session, we'll be making our ever-popular Christmas Door Wreaths – one of the highlights of our year and always a wonderfully festive session!

We will provide everything you need to make a beautiful wreath, including moss, fir, a wire wreath ring, ribbon, a selection of festive decorations and some additional foliage to help you get started.

If you would like to make a bigger, fuller wreath, we would encourage you to bring along some extra foliage from your garden or local surroundings. While we will have a small selection of additional greenery available for everyone to use, bringing your own evergreen branches, holly, ivy, conifer cuttings or other seasonal foliage will help you create a more abundant and personalised design. Dried hydrangea heads and lavender also make beautiful additions if you have saved some from the summer months. If you would like to add an extra festive touch, you are very welcome to bring along Christmas baubles or battery-operated fairy lights too.

You may find it useful to bring a pair of gardening gloves and some secateurs, as well as a bucket or an empty bin bag to rest your finished wreath on for the journey home.

If you are unable to make this event, please arrange a member transfer via the website http://www.pimmsandneedles.co.uk/group-meetings/.  Simply choose the group you would like to go to and fill in the member transfer link. This will temporarily move you to that group for this month. 

Our session includes tea and coffee, it would be great if you could bring along cake or something sweet to share with members for our cake table.
