Marian St Theatre for Young People

TERM 4 has arrived for new and continuing students living with an intellectual disability aged 18+.

An accessible drama class for up to 8 young people aged 18+ who are living with an intellectual disability. Participating with others in a fun, inclusive and creative environment with drama exercises and improvisation games that give young people an outlet for their creative expression, build confidence and develop communication skills.

No prior drama experience necessary.

Our Access class will focus on: Devising a scene for our Christmas Story End of Year Showcase!

DAY:              Mondays, one class a week

We welcome new students into the accessible class, however as this is a specialised class for students with specific requirements we encourage parents and carers to give us a call before enrolling online on 9880 2356 or email info@mstyp.org.au and we will call you back.

End of Year Showcase

It’s that time when your child will be working towards our end of year showcase! MSTYP will be bringing together all of our drama classes for an end of year sharing to showcase our wonderful young people!

Extra On stage rehearsal opportunity: Sunday 6th December (Time:TBC)

PERFORMANCE DATE: Sunday 13th December

LOCATION: East Lindfield Community Hall

NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME?

Don't worry! You can still enrol - our experienced Teaching Artists will ensure your young person will build the skills ready to perform, even though they won't be present for the actual performance, and performance preparation will only take up a small portion of the class.
