The Armed Security Development Program is a structured 2-month professional development program created specifically for armed security officers who want to go beyond basic licensing and qualification requirements. Obtaining an armed security license demonstrates that an officer has met the required licensing standard.

Maintaining professional-level firearm proficiency, however, requires continued training. This program is designed to help armed security officers strengthen their firearm handling, duty-holster proficiency, accuracy, consistency, manipulation skills, and overall confidence through regular, progressive training.

The emphasis is not simply on qualifying.

The emphasis is on developing. What You Can Expect:

* 2 hours of focused training each week

* 8 weeks of progressive development

* 16 total training hours

* Duty-handgun fundamentals

* Safe drawing and reholstering from a duty holster

* Grip, presentation, and recoil management

* Accuracy and consistency development

* Reloads and firearm manipulation

* Malfunction identification and management

* Controlled shooting under increased performance demands

* Progressive time and accuracy standards

* Security-focused firearm skill development

* Individual coaching and performance evaluation

* Preparation beyond the basic Class “G” qualification standard

* Week 1: $150 * Weeks 2–10: $90 per week

* Total Tuition: $960 Training is delivered over 8 weeks, while the payment schedule extends over 10 weeks.

This allows officers to complete their development program without having to pay the entire tuition upfront. Final payments may continue after the training portion has been completed. Don’t just qualify.
