Cycling- National Forest (RDE)

We held a weekend event based at YHA National Forest in 2022. With this one day event, we fill in some of the places we didn’t visit in the East of the region in 2022.

Join us for a 30 mile undulating ride to explore the South Derbyshire countryside in Autumn. Free parking in Melbourne village (see map), where we meet at 10am. Points of interest on the route include Staunton Harold and Blackbrook reservoirs, Staunton Harold Hall, Mount St Bernard’s Abbey, Grace Dieu Priory and Breedon on the Hill Church, as well as lots of pretty villages! Tea shops at Staunton Harold Hall, Shepshed and Melbourne.

This ride is open to everyone - members and non-members. Just sign up!
