CIRCLE TIME SONGS FOR ECE

**Course Prerequisite: Total Beginner Uke, or Enroll in Total Beginner Uke Concurrently. If you already play ukulele, that also counts.**

4 Sessions

In this course for educators and caregivers serving students in early and regular Head Start programs, daycare settings, preschools, and TK or Kindergarten classrooms, you will learn songs and activities to engage young children during everyday circle time. Songs for welcoming, feelings, friendship, and starting the day can brighten up your daily routines. You'll learn to count, play, and lead students in playing a steady beat, adding chants, rhymes, and familiar songs. Participants may request favorite songs, or request songs to fit specific teaching goals. Laura will help you practice teaching simple songs to your students.

Song leading the GITC way will support you to experience the joy of sharing music with little ones while building speech and language skills, and teaching character qualities through nursery rhymes.

This course will be taught from 7-8 pm PT / 8-9 pm MT / 9-10 pm CT / 10-11 pm ET.
