One week after a group of young designers from Columbus Fashion Academy walks Columbus Fashion Week 2026 — in looks they designed and made themselves — we open the doors to our new home on Grandview Avenue.

We're building something permanent. A one-of-a-kind fabric letter-quilt mural will hang on the walls of Dear Garment House — and every square in it will be made by a child. Every color choice is theirs. Every cut. Every stitch.

This is not a craft table. This is a 45-minute hands-on studio session where your child sources real fabric, makes real decisions, and sews their very own design into the story of this fashion house. Their design stays here. Forever.

What happens in your 45 minutes:

→ Tour the studio and choose from our curated collection of pre-loved textiles

→ Build your color story — your way

→ Cut and compose your shapes

→ Sew your piece into fashion history

→ Color a complimentary Fashion Doodle while you wind down

→ Experience a surprise moment with Miss Sustainable (aka Miss P) — a fashion time capsule we can't wait for you to discover The first 30 children who attend our opening weekend will leave their mark on Dear Garment House. Permanently.
