Leo Luna

Led by local educator, Bregan Ford, in partnership with Blanco River Academy, this STEAM-focused class, teaches students to explore science, technology, engineering, art, & math in a safe, fun, & creative environment. Students will design, build, experiment, disassemble, & more during this semester-long, hands-on adventure.

Recommended ages.
This club is designed for 3rd through 6th grade students (8 to 12 years old).
If you have an older student, please let us know. We may have spots available for Tinker Masters in Training.

What's included?
Tuition includes thirteen (13) hands on 1.5 hour classes.

What to expect.
Each class consists of one (1) or more project stations or challenges. Students will receive a relaxed overview, including discussion and exploration, before beginning work. Classes may include the use of basic tools like scissors, pliers, hammers, and screw drivers, as well as child-safe electronic tools like the ChompSaw. In addition to building and creating, students may also be asked to disassemble small, non-motorized electronics.

All activities are adapted to accommodate youth and tween age groups.

Cancellation policy.
A refund for the Full Tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee, may be issued to students withdrawing no less than 2 weeks (14 days) before the first scheduled class. Refunds will not be issued to students withdrawing less than 2 weeks before the first scheduled class. Exceptions may be made if a student from the waiting list is able to fill the vacancy. In such cases, a refund for the Full Tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee, may be issued. Materials Fees cannot be refunded.
