This isn't shopping. This is a 45-minute styled experience — just you, Priscila and her team, in the rooms of Dear Garment House, surrounded by one-of-a-kind black pieces pulled from The Archive: pre-loved vintage, plus upcycled and handmade fashion treasures.

This is a 1:1 appointment — one stylist, one experience. Coming as a duo or trio of BFFs? You're welcome. The 45 minutes is yours to share, together.

Our curated selection of everything black will be available to you to see from 9am-9pm. By appointment only. Please email: Shop@FashionCommunity.org and let us know your time slot(s) preference. We will email back with your time block confirmed. Give us a few options if all possible.

Before you arrive to experience the best Black Friday shopping experience ever, you're welcome to email us at Shop@FashionCommunity.org with anything on your wish list — a coat, a dress, a specific brand, a particular decade, a vibe, a size. You can also pre-select/shop ahead by browsing The Archive at www.talkingfashion.net and sharing anything that catches your eye. Because every piece is pre-loved, vintage, or handmade, we can't guarantee your dream piece will be there — but we will search, pull, and do everything in our power to have it waiting for you when you walk through the door.

Please submit especial requests the month(s) prior to your appointment so that gives us time to pull pieces from our warehouse and have your appointment ready before you arrive.

Meet your stylist.

Priscila Teixeira brings decades of fashion industry experience to every appointment — and a track record that speaks for itself. She was the #1 All-Star Manager on the Nordstrom Easton opening team in 2001 and remained #1 for all the years she was there, building a personal client list of thousands and leading her team to consecutive #1 rankings against stores twice their size (From Mall of America to Beverly Hills). Her secret was never a secret: an honest eye, great listening, genuine care for the person in front of her, and the discipline to never sell something for the sake of it.

That's the same energy she's bringing to Dear Garment House.

After decades of building a remarkable fashion ecosystem — empowering youth through fashion, keeping textiles out of landfills, and proving that circular fashion is the future — Priscila is thrilled to bring her retail magic back into her life. This time, better than ever. Every dollar you spend funds youth programming, workforce development and supports a movement making fashion for good.

What to expect.

Your appointment includes a curated styling session with light refreshments — and we keep things interesting. Expect:

• 🍸 Evening slots — black drinks

Light bites pairing included. The offering changes with the hour.

This is an old-fashioned celebration of good taste, of giving back, of human connection, of artistic freedom, of creating fashion for good. Together, in a room full of beautiful things that have already lived one life and are ready for another.

Dress up if the moment calls for it. Come straight from the gym if that's where life had you. Wear your favorite jeans. Wear something borrowed. Wear something bold. Wear something plain. At Dear Garment House, every appointment is a curated experience. You're not just shopping. You're stepping into a living archive of beautiful garments, lovingly tended by a community of volunteers who believe fashion can be a force for good.

How it works:

• Appointments are by reservation only and slots are limited.
• A non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your spot. This fee is considered a donation to our mission — whether you find your dream piece or not. Your reservation means you agree to this donation and understand it is non-refundable.
• We will make every effort to prepare the best options for you.

In-house alterations:
Found something you love that needs a little love back? We offer in-house alterations. If a garment needs adjusting, we can take a look right here. Alterations fee varies based on services needed.

All proceeds from every sale support our mission: spreading sustainable fashion education starting with kids, and building pathways for workforce development in the creative economy in Central Ohio.
