The Center for Excellence in STEM Education invites you to participate in a set of recurring STEM Education field trips designed for area home school groups. The events will take place in the makerspace located on CMU’s campus in Mt. Pleasant. Enrolling your child(ren) allows them to participate in all events (two per month from September 2026 – December 2026). Due to staffing changes, we are offering programming for students ages 7 to 13. We are taking a maximum of 15 students. This group will be building problem-solving skills, persistence, critical thinking, and question asking by engaging in design thinking challenges.
