A Tidepool and Seashore Ecology Outing has students directly experience the ecology of life in the tidepools and on-shore. Causes of tides and it's effects, unique adaptations (form and function) of the creatures in the tidepool, basic marine biology, both kelp and shore studies, and cultural significance of the area are all part of the outings experience. Of course, time is taken to explore and enjoy the beauty and treasures this Southern California ocean-side park has to offer. Low tide of -0.7 at 12:31pm.
