MINI Dolphins (Intro to lifesaving sport)
The MINI Dolphins offer participants a recreational introduction to lifesaving sport skills. The program also teaches team building, fair play, ethics in sport and responsibility.
The MINI Dolphins program targets 6.5 to 9-year-olds who have completed Swimmer 3 (or equivalent), or have received a direct referral from our Head Coach.
  • Focus : Introduces team dynamics, respect for others, fundamental lifesaving sport skills (dive starts from the deck, open turns, in-water somersaults, strokes and sculling, as well as throwing accuracy and towing a manikin with a rescue tube), water safety, and baseline swimming endurance in a fun, supportive setting.

  • Events and Community : Active participation in local club events, home meets, and club-based fundraising.

MINI Dolphins (Intro au sauvetage sportif)
Les MINI Dolphins offrent aux participants une introduction récréative aux habiletés du sauvetage sportif. Le programme enseigne également le sentiment d'équipe, le fair-play, l'éthique du sport et la responsabilité.
Le programme MINI Dolphins cible les jeunes de 6.5 à 9 ans qui ont terminé le niveau Nageur 3 (ou l'équivalent) ou qui ont reçu une référence de notre Entraineuse-Chef.
  • Focus : Présente la dynamique d’équipe, le respect des autres, les compétences fondamentales en sauvetage sportif (plongeons de départ depuis le bord, virages ouverts, culbutes dans l’eau, nages et godille, ainsi que la précision des lancers et le remorquage d’un mannequin avec une bouée tube), la sécurité aquatique et l’endurance de base en natation dans un cadre amusant et bienveillant.

  • Événements et communauté : Participation active aux événements locaux du club, aux rencontres amicales à notre piscine (Hawkesbury) et aux activités de financement organisées par le club.
