Squid Studio

This class is for anyone who has already taken a beginner class or workshop and would like to continue learning stained glass! Or for anyone who has been self-taught and would like to try a class setting!

In this class, students will have creative freedom in designing or selecting a pattern for the piece they create using the copper foil method. However, a size of 14x14" or smaller is recommended. It is also recommended that students have their design or pattern to at least a mock-up stage by the first class. I can give creative consultation on designs with stained glass best practices.

During the four week class we will complete the processes of pattern prep, glass selections, cutting glass (with extra emphasis on technique and proper tool usage), grinding, copper foiling, soldering, patina (optional) and cleaning/polishing the finished pieces.

Class Details & Requirements:
Age Limit: 14 and older
Experience: Previous stained glass experience is required
Materials: Tools & safety equipment are provided, but students must purchase their own glass, copper foil and solder

Cost & Payment:
Total Tuition: $160
Payment Options: Pay the full $160 online at checkout, or pay a $60 deposit online to hold your spot and pay the remaining $120 balance in cash at the first class
Deposit Policy: Registrations without a deposit or full payment will be cancelled

I will send out an email to the registered students two weeks before the first class with more information and to consult about designs and glass.
