Lumber Preparation: Your Road to Machine Qualified Certification 

Calling all Machine Qualified (MQ) and Machine Knowledgeable (MK) members!

If you have completed the Machine Knowledgeable classes for the jointer and planer, this is your opportunity to work toward Machine Qualified certification. Sign up to cut, joint, and plane rough lumber into surfaced-four-sides (S4S) boards for sale at the Annual Lumber and Tool Auction.

Each session needs two Machine Qualified members and four Machine Knowledgeable members. Choose from Wednesday, August 26, or Wednesday, September 2, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.; or Saturday, September 5, from noon to 3:00 p.m. Your machine time will count toward machine qualification.

Prerequisite: Jointer and Planer Machine Knowledgeable Members

Fee($) for Materials and Supplies : Free

Materials/Tools Needed: Safety Glasses, Ear Protection

Maximum class size: 6

Tuition: Free for NWA members, (open only to NWA members).
